Short holiday pause. Repairs resume in January
I was looking for a reputable m0dchip installer (professional circuit board soldering) for my Nintendo Switch and found this business on reddit. Payton's website allowed an easy way to schedule a dropoff. The estimate of 1 week turnaround was fair considering the intricate, detailed, and high-risk installation that is involved. After dropoff, Payton emailed within a day to inform me that the chip install was completed. In the email, he provided a simple service that speaks volumes about his quality control/workmanship and helps assuage customers' concerns/fears. He had attached detailed pictures of the various steps during the install process. This was a very nice addition to his work process. I work in manufacturing and I wish my vendors offered me this option!?! I was able to see the before/after pics of the chip install on the switch. Payton also included a picture of the switch turned on after chip install. This confirmed that the hardware mod was doing its job. Seeing the inside of the Switch after the install really convinced me that Payton is a pro and I'm confident my device should have no issues. Scheduling pickup time was easy and painless. He accepts all types of payments which is convenient too. The device was returned exactly as I had dropped it off, except now enhanced with m0dchip. If you've read this far, you're probably asking, "did it work?" Heck yeah guys! We have liftoff! The Switch boots right into custom firmware EVERY time so that I can run "only" homebrew software. This Untethered Switch is so much more hassle free and easy to use. No need for a dongle anymore and that's 1 less headache. I will trust Payton with all of my future soldering / modding needs and you should too.
Service was high quality and fast. Payton was super nice, and eagerly helped me with software after the modchip installation. Were I to mod or tinker something else, I would definitely contact him again.
